BlackRock CEO, Larry Fink, Claims Crypto Will ‘Transcend Any One Currency’

The last time we spoke about Larry Fink, he was saying that bitcoin is a better investment than gold. Today, he came out with comments in a CNBC interview that are far more bullish on crypto as a whole. In his opinion, crypto will transcend other currencies because it exists in a sort of international state without any one government possessing control or dollar devaluation.

Ever since BlackRock filed for their spot Bitcoin ETF, Larry Fink has been in the news much more frequently. We are bullish on the spot ETF and Fink’s recent comments would suggest that BlackRock is not only bullish on Bitcoin but the crypto asset class as a whole. The future is looking bright as we get closer to the SEC needing to respond to the ETFs.

The SEC Takes BlackRock Bitcoin ETF Application To Regulatory Review

The news of BlackRock filing for a spot Bitcoin ETF was a major catalyst. It was recently revealed that the SEC has accepted their application, that they have since refiled, for regulatory review. This is but the first step in what is an extended process and our fingers are crossed that it goes through. On July 14th, the SEC announced that it was reviewing the other applications for a spot ETF as well.

If this ETF gets approved, it’ll be huge for the industry. Not only is BlackRock the largest fund manager in the world with $10T assets under management, it’ll help to endorse crypto as an asset class. A spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States would be the first of its kind. We are bullish on boomers getting crypto exposure via their retirement funds.
