Google Cloud Aiming on Increasing Web3 Services For Users

Google Cloud has realized that there is plenty of money to make in Web3 and is now aiming to add more services. In essence, Google Cloud would like to be a first choice for industry members and developers. The majority of preliminary efforts has been on working with industry members that focus on gaming and other financial services in the sector.

AI also seems to be another focus area for Google Cloud as it’s a niche that has performed well this year. Google warming up to crypto goes to show that as the industry matures, those from Web2 will come to realize the value that this space offers. We celebrate any initiatives that help this industry grow.

US Justice Department is Doubling The Size of Their Crypto Team

The DoJ has announced that it will be doubling the number of its staff on the crypto team in order to keep up. If we’ve learned anything this past year, it’s that negative actors in the space have actually been getting punished for their on-chain crimes which is different than the past.

While crypto is much larger than just the United States, this is a great development for crypto as bad actors set back the industry. Alongside the change in composition, the team will receive a new acting director: Claudia Quiroz.

McDonald’s Launches Games in The Sandbox: McNuggets Land

Despite market weariness if you simply scroll on Twitter, the institutions and major brands continue to build in crypto. This new land in The Sandbox is now live on Ethereum mainnet to anyone that wants to join. This was built out to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Chicken McNuggets at McDonald’s which is certainly a crypto favorite given the average age of market participants.

McNuggets Land will be live in The Sandbox until August 28th for those that want to venture into this brief exhibit. This isn’t McDonald’s first venture into Web3, but the continued interest is exciting. With only five weeks, be sure to visit sooner than later if you intend to indulge in McNugget’s Land.
